Human safety and evacuation in the foreground

One of the greatest problems of fire protection in large hotels is always the lack of knowledge of the premises. Although the personnel should be able to give proper instructions on what to do in case of fire, the reality of the situation usually looks much different: the most important to be protected is the hotel guest, who is almost exclusively dependent on a controlled evacuation by the rescue teams and on the structural fire protection. In order to avoid panic in case of emergencies, effective elevator control as well as the possibility to evacuate floor-by-floor belong to the fire rescue concept of every hotel. The escape route system - the optical and acoustic marking of the emergency exits - is also of special importance.
